Il Saint-Louise
One of two natural islands (the other being Il de Cite) in the Seine, it is named for Louis IX, it was once used for organizing cattle and lumber and is now a mainly residential area and has a small town feel that is hard to come by in the city. Most of the houses were built between 1618-1630 and some held notable residents such as Marie Curie and the sculptor, Camille Claudel.
